The Vahan branding project focuses on creating a visual identity for a makeshift skateboarding brand. With inspiration drawn from urban culture and heavy metal aesthetics, the goal of the project was to portray the rebellious spirit of skateboarding through graphic design and a consistent style guide.

I drew inspiration from skateboarding culture, urban art, and heavy metal music to shape the brand’s look. While researching similar skate brands, I noticed trends like monochrome palettes, bold typography, and gritty textures. However, many lacked custom, hand-drawn lettering with unique influences. To stand out, I created sharp, angular typography inspired by urban and metal styles, making the logo more intense and memorable than others.
I designed a range of apparel and accessories, including hats, tote bags, T-shirts, and hoodies, all carefully made in Procreate and Photoshop. Each design was drawn by hand and followed the brand’s style guide to follow a consistent aesthetic. These products were then launched on the Vahan website’s product page.
